Busy, busy, busy

I’ve been a busy little boy and have neglected my blogging duties.
I will soon post details on my projects as they will make for some interesting topics.

Not sure why but I am just in the weirdest funk. I guess this pinched nerve is getting to me since I have no motivation to do anything. I know I need to workout but getting my ass to the gym is hard…and the gym is just downstairs.
I am also waiting to upgrade my HTPC (Home Theater PC) with some new toys but none of them are available or they have not been reviewed enough for me to pull the trigger and buy them sight unseen.
I think I am going to rest this weekend and try not eat too much junk food and see if I can get out of this funk. Maybe I should try the opposite… eat as much junk food as I can this weekend and see if that makes me feel better.
Sometimes you just need one thing to get you back on track but I haven’t figured out what that one thing is yet.
So the other day TMZ made a tongue-n-cheek post about how 16-year-old women’s gymnastics individual all-around Olympic silver medalist Shawn Johnson bared a striking resemblance to a that cute little mouse of long ago Topo Gigo.
They said:
Here’s tiny 16-year-old women’s gymnastics individual all-around Olympic silver medalist Shawn Johnson (left) — and “The Ed Sullivan Show’s” favorite soft foam Italian mouse Topo Gigio (right).
Only one of them is a puppet.
We’re just sayin’…
I guess people lost their ever loving mind about it.
Today TMZ posted some of the emails that they received about that post. Let’s just say that some people really need to get a clue and not take life so seriously.
Besides, Topo Gigo was almost an American Icon (even though he was a native Italian) during the time that he appeared on the Ed Sullivan show. If you don’t think that he was absolutely adorable then you need to search YouTube for some of the clips of his performances.
He was priceless…and so is Shawn Johnson.
It was a compliment people!!!!
This videotaped lecture could very well be the best 45 minute investment you will ever make.
Prof. James Duane of the Regent University School of Law and Officer George Bruch of the Virginia Beach Police Department tell you why you should never, ever, ever talk to the police. It doesn’t matter if you are innocent or not.
I will go one step further… if you are ever questioned by the police for any reason whatsoever, the first eight (8) words out of your mouth better be “I will not answer any of your questions” quickly followed by the next seven (7) words “I want to talk to my lawyer”.
From BoingBoing.net: “Law prof and cop agree: never ever ever ever ever ever ever talk to the cops about a crime, even if you’re innocent“
Probably. Probably not. There are million of blogs out there so why is this one different? First, its got a catchy domain name and secondly, its my blog and I find it cathartic to vent my everyday life online. This is not my first blog but it should be the most fun since it has no limits to what I can blog.
Why? Cause there is no central theme that I have to follow. I can get on my soapbox and rant about anything, everything, or nothing. And believe you me, I will.
